General Description

As a new graduate employee with INSITE, you’ll get to know the world of consulting!  You’ll have a safe workplace where you’ll be welcomed, energized, and supported by our team.  You will gain valuable work experience and build credible skills while fully engaged alongside seasoned professionals. 

Interview: Our recruitment process will be completed with video conference technology or in-person.

We have two specialized positions opportunities for you to choose from:

1. Engineering Support

Here’s some examples of tasks you may expect in an Engineering Support role:

  • Work with colleagues on day-to-day tasks and special projects.
  • Prepare CAD drawings.
  • Prepare engineering calculations and documents.
  • Prepare costing analysis.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, clients and other stakeholders.

The following qualifications and criteria are required:

  • You must be a full-time student enrolled in post-secondary program or entering full-time post-secondary studies in September 2023.
  • Be familiar with MS Office (word and excel).
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have excellent organizational and time management skills.

Standard Office Hours: 8:30am-4:30pm; Monday-Friday.

Location:  Engineering Support role may work in the Kingston office or hybrid, determined upon work requirements.

2. Construction Inspection Support

Here’s some examples of tasks you may expect in a Construction Inspection Support role:

  • Shadow seasoned construction inspector.
  • Prepare daily construction inspection reports.
  • Review contractor payment requests.

The following qualifications and criteria are required:

  • You must be a full-time student enrolled in post-secondary program or entering full-time post-secondary studies in September 2023
  • Be familiar with MS Office (word and excel)
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Have excellent organizational and time management skills
  • A valid “G” Drivers license in good standing 
  • Possess safety boots, hard hat and safety vest 
  • Previous office, labour, or volunteer experience is an asset

Working Hours:  Monday-Friday during construction activities as required. 

Location:  Work will be onsite at various construction locations, mostly in the County of Prince Edward.
